There was a great turnout of members, and guests. Good food was enjoyed by all, after an icebreaker game. Presentations were by Chapter President Thien Kuu who talked about the Chapter\u2019s history (including having 500 members at one time), and Steve Walter from the Federation Board spoke about the history of NARFE (originally called Association for Retired Federal Employees \u2013 ARF!).<br>\nAmong those in attendance was Clarence (and his wife Betty) Tom. Clarence retired from Alameda Naval Air Station about 1985, joined NARFE in 1992, and was 2nd VP in 1994, 1st VP in 1995, and Prez in 1996. He and Betty were bigtime line dancers and he was still a Line Dance instructor in his late 70s and maybe later. They live in Union City. He\u2019ll be 96 in June.
