Once again, NARFE is hosting a Food Drive June 1 through August 21. The goal is $5 per voting member. A priority is providing supplemental nutrition during the summer break to school children eligible for free lunches during the school year.<br>\nThe New Braunfels NARFE Chapter 0672 will be collecting money donations at all meetings in June, July and August with all proceeds going to the New Braunfels Food Bank. Funding cuts by the current administration have created a large funding gap for area food banks which have already struggled to meet client needs.
