Call NARFE at 1-800-456-8410 (press 1 for Membership) or Join NARFE by visiting their Website
How much does it cost to join NARFE?
Annual dues are $48. However, if you sign up for Dues Withholding, you save $6 a year, for an annual cost of just $42. Chapter Dues are an additional $9 annually.
What is Dues Withholding and how do I sign up for it?
Federal retirees may have a low, monthly amount taken out of their annuity to pay for their NARFE membership dues.
Call NARFE at 1-800-456-8410 (press 1 for Membership) or complete the appropriate Dues Withholding Form:

DW-3 Dues Withholding Application for New Members (Retirees)
Please note that Dues Withholding is only available for retirees.

How do I contact Federal Employee Group Life Insurance (FEGLI)?
You may call the office of FEGLI at 1-800-633-4542.
If a Federal retiree or eligible family member has died, contact OPM at 1-888-767-6738 and OPM will provide the appropriate claim forms and information about any FEGLI coverage.
If a Federal employee has died, or when an eligible member of a federal employee’s family has died, please contact the employee’s Federal agency to learn whether they had coverage under the FEGLI program. The agency maintains the FEGLI records of its employees.
