Dues Withholding (DW) is a dues-payment method available to NARFE members, their spouses and annuitant survivors who are receiving a federal retirement, giving them the option to have their annual NARFE membership dues deducted from their annuity each month.<\/p>\n
The NARFE New York State Federation is offering a $25 incentive for any NARFE NYS Federation member who has belonged to NARFE for one year who signs up for Dues Withholding.\u00a0 To receive this incentive, your Dues Withholding application must<\/strong><\/em> be mailed to the NARFE NYS Federation through the Dues Withholding Coordinator.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n Any member of NARFE Chapter 0439 is automatically a member of NARFE NYS Federation.<\/p>\n Please note<\/strong> that if you are a current NARFE NYS Federation member, your Dues Withholding will not become effective until your current membership is due to for renewal.\u00a0 At that time, you will become enrolled in Dues Withholding and will be sent the $25 incentive check.<\/p>\n If you are not currently a member of NARFE and are receiving an annuity based on your retirement or that of your spouse, you may join NARFE now without sending in any money, simply by signing up for Dues Withholding!\u00a0 It takes 60-90 days to process your application.\u00a0 However, only current NARFE members who have belonged to NARFE for one year are eligible for the $25 incentive for signing up for Dues Withholding.\u00a0 Contact the NARFE NYS Federation Dues Withholding Coordinator<\/a> <\/strong>for more information.<\/p>\n NARFE Dues Withholding for Current Members<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n NARFE Dues Withholding for New Members<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n From September 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024, NARFE New York State Federation is offering a $10 recruitment incentive for any new NARFE member (whether currently working or retired from the federal government) that a NARFE NYS Federation member recruits to join the NARFE NYS Federation. \u00a0NARFE national headquarters is concurrently offering a $10 incentive for the recruiter who recruits a new NARFE member. \u00a0The new member must<\/strong><\/em> be brand new to NARFE \u2013 not be a reinstatement or a renewal of membership.\u00a0 Be certain to fully complete the New Member Application, and include your name and NARFE membership ID number on the blocks for the recruiter\u2019s name and membership ID.\u00a0 Also include Chapter 0439 on the application if they would like to join our chapter.<\/p>\n You can find your NARFE membership ID# on the second line of the mailing label of your NARFE Magazine or Contact us<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\nNew Member Recruitment Incentives<\/h5>\n
