The Chapter has special guests come and make a presentation during our monthly meetings. The following are some of the pictures of these special guests.<\/p>\n

Chapter Program was by Lansing Fire Department. Speaker was Captain Rahshemeer J. Neal and the Assistant Chief Carrie Edwards came for support and greet the attendees. Captain Neal discussed a number of things they provide to people and groups in the Lansing area. They provide Civilian CPR Classes, Fire Inspections, Install smoke detectors and information on fire preventions. He provided a handout of LFD Fire Safety Tips for Seniors<\/a>.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

To become a volunteer.<\/p>\n

Adult Volunteer Program \u2013 Adults must be at least 16-years-old and attend a volunteer orientation.
\nFamily Volunteer Program \u2013 Children ages 8-15 may volunteer with a parent or guardian and must attend a volunteer orientation.<\/p>\n

Volunteer Hours: 12-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday<\/p>\n

*Volunteers may come to the shelter during our normal business hours only, and must schedule a volunteer shift prior to coming in. Volunteers are not allowed in the building on Sundays or any day or time the shelter is closed.<\/p>\n
