Q. How do I learn more about NARFE?
NARFE’s main website, www.narfe.org, is a great place to start. There is valuable information there for prospective, new, and long time members of NARFE!
Q. How do I learn more about the Everett Chapter?
Please Contact Us if you cannot find answers to your questions about Spokane Chapter. We may add your question to this page!
Q. How much are dues for the Everett Chapter?
Chapter dues are free for the first year when you join NARFE. When renewing your membership, please include Chapter 0193 for $10.00 per year. National-only members can join Chapter 0032 by contacting our Treasurer or calling NARFE Headquarters at 800-456-8410 option 1.
Q. Who are our NARFE members within the Everett Chapter's service area?
Chapter 0193’s service area has 40% chapter members and 60% national-only members. Of all members, 13% are active employees, 84% retirees, 1% spouses, and 2% survivors.
Q. Why do NARFE members have to log into their NARFE accounts to read selected pages on our website?
Pages for Zoom Instructions, Newsletters, and Meeting Minutes are locked to casual visitors of our website. NARFE has policy to protect sensitive and personal information of NARFE organizational units and its members. We don’t allow unwelcomed guests and robots with access to the World Wide Web (1) to zoom our Chapter meetings, (2) to read personal information published in our Newsletters, and (3) to learn our Chapter’s finances printed in our Meeting Minutes. All NARFE members may gain access to these pages by logging into their individual NARFE account. We consequently assume that NARFE members are respectful of any information that is associated with our Chapter and its members.
