FedCon26 will be in Indianapolis this year from August 23-25. It will be at the Hyatt Regency downtown. This will be a chance to attend classes, meet people from across the country, and see and\/or meet the national officers. Registration is $225. Since it is in Indianapolis you don\u2019t have to worry about housing and transportation cost. You can get more details on the website narfe.org.<\/p>\n
I will be registering a Chapter 0151 team for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s. It will take place October 3, 2026. It will be held at Michael A. Carroll Stadium 1001 W. New York St. Indianapolis. You do not have to walk to participate. The festival starts at 8:30am. Once I get the team registered, I will send out information on FedHub on how to sign on. You can also come to the June Chapter meeting where somebody from the Alzheimer Association will speak on the walk and Brain Awareness.<\/p>\n
I am trying to schedule a meeting with Congressman Jefferson Shreve. No date has been set up yet. Jefferson Shreve represents the sixth district which is mostly the counties east of Marion. I chose him because he is newest of the congressmen who represent people in Chapter 0151. If you live in the sixth district, please consider volunteering to come to the meeting.
