SS Fairness Act Becomes Law

The Social Security Fairness Act of 2023 was signed into law January 5th, 2025. The provision repeals WEP (the Windfall Elimination Provision) and GPO (the Government Pension Offset) that have unfairly diminished or eliminated Social Security payments to government workers or their families.
