Loyalty to Trump Administration

Prior to the present Trump presidency, Federal employees swore an Oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; … So help me God.” In a recent lawsuit challenging the Trump Administration’s hiring practices, legal filings demonstrate that a question regarding loyalty to the Trump Administration was mandatory rather than optional, which is contrary to the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) indication.
