Schedule P/C Threatens Democracy
The Office of Personnel Management finalized its rule to create Schedule Policy/Career (P/C), which allows the reclassification of 50,000 or more federal positions into excepted service, without protections against politically motivated terminations. NARFE National President William Shackelford issued NARFE’s statement, which opposes this final rule.
