Update on Referendum to Extend Officer Terms
The NEB passed Motion #17-11-25 in closed session on December 18, 2025 to fund $40,000 for a special referendum to extend the terms of office for current and future national officers. Ballots will be emailed on January 26, 2026.

Login.gov is coming to BENEFEDS.gov
The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has partnered with Login.gov to offer enhanced online account security to BENEFEDS.gov users. Login.gov will replace the current login process and credentials that you use to access your My BENEFEDS account.
New OPM Delivery Method for 1099-R Forms
The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has updated its delivery policy for the 1099-R form. Annuitants who have provided an email address will receive their 1099-R forms electronically, unless they opt to receive them by mail through their OPM online account.
