Submit Proposed Changes to NARFE’s Advocacy Positions for the 118th Congress

Through July 15, NARFE is accepting proposals to help craft the association’s advocacy positions for the 118th Congress. NARFE’s advocacy positions detail the association’s specific policy stances, directing NARFE’s leadership and staff regarding whether to support a position – or not – when actions are taken by Congress or the administration. Chapters, federation boards and individuals are encouraged to look at NARFE’s current positions and submit proposals for the next Congress. Learn more about the process and submit proposals by going here

Submitted proposals should add to, amend or remove current advocacy positions, and those submitted will be posted for viewing and discussion by NARFE members on FEDHub. Proposals that receive the majority support of those present and voting at chapter and federation board meetings will be considered by NARFE’s advocacy committee. Proposals by individuals will receive consideration by the advocacy committee if they gain the support of at least 10 NARFE members via recommendations on the proposal’s designated FEDHub posting. Check out submitted proposals on the Advocacy Position Proposals for the 118th Congress FEDHub community and select the “recommend” button for proposals that you support.
