Form 1099-R From OPM
The NARFE Federal Benefits Institute has received numerous calls and emails from members asking when annuitants should expect to see their 2020 1099-R tax forms from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).
According to OPM, all 2020 1099-R forms will be mailed to annuitants by January 31. Mailed 1099-R tax forms may not be received until mid-February, depending on where the annuitant lives. Please keep a close eye on your mail.
An annuitant with a Retirement Services Online (RSO) account under OPM, once logged in, should be able to access the 2020 1099-R now.
