How to submit a newsletter article:

- Deadline is Monday after our meeting in March, June, September and December.

- We distributed a 4-page newsletter (the "Wurst" newsletter) quarterly to all members, and also an electronic eXtra to all members with e-mail quarterly.

- Please send article by e-mail, with any pictures (.JPG preferred) as separate attachments.

- Preferred length is 200 words.

- Focus on a single topic.  We cannot print copyright material without permission from the owner.

Question:  Where is the Comal County Senior Citizens Center?

Answer:  The Center is at 655 Landa Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.

Question:  Is there a charge to attend meetings?

Answer:  Meetings are free, but you will need to pay your meal at luncheons and dinner events.    Donations for the coffee and treats are appreciated.  You may optionally donate to NARFE Alzheimer's Research.

Question:  Are meetings open to the public?

Answer:  Yes.

Question:  What type of organization is NARFE? 

Answer:  NARFE is a 501.c.5 non-for-profit organization.

Question:  Who is eligible to join NARFE?

Answer:  Membership is open to those who are or will be eligible to receive a civilian federal annuity or survivor annuity including:
•Retired federal employees
•Active federal employees
•Spouses and surviving spouses of those eligible to join NARFE
•Former federal employees
•A former spouse who is legally entitled to a civilain federal survivor annuity.
