The National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) has been safeguarding and improving the earned rights and benefits of active and retired federal employees, their spouses and survivors since 1921. Using its wealth of expertise, NARFE offers a nationwide Pre-Retirement Seminar (PRS) Program for federal employees nearing retirement. Through the PRS Program, agency managers can introduce their employees to the information they need to plan, prepare for and enjoy retirement before they retire, when there is still a chance to fix any problems before it is too late. Recently, NARFE began offering these seminars to individual federal employees who can register for the seminars on their own.

NARFE schedules pre-retirement seminars worldwide. NARFE will bring the seminar to your agency (a cost savings on travel and TDY), and your employees are only out of the office for one day. This is the most cost-effective training. But NARFE also holds off-site seminars for employees who either missed training with their agencies, the agency has only a small number of employees for training, or the agency is too small to host a seminar on its own. NARFE will schedule a seminar to meet your time schedule. NARFE will hold pre-retirement seminars during the day or evenings, and on weekends. If your agency has a 24-hour operation, NARFE will adjust the schedule to meet the most convenient time for you.
