CONVENTIONS

2008 NARFE NH Federation Convention:  The convention was held on Sunday, May 18 and Monday, May 19, at the Holiday Inn in Concord.  Concord Chapter served as host.  New officers were elected, changes were approved to the Federation By-Laws, deceased members were honored, various awards presented, a tour of the state house was taken by many attendees, officers' reports were received, a "Chapter Feud" game was held, the annual auction conducted, and various speakers gave presentations - including Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter, staff representatives from other Congressional offices, NARFE Region I VP Augie Stratoti, Dorothy Gruver of Alzheimers Association, and the Keynote Speaker, Jill Crissman of NARFE National (see the link to her speech at the top left of this screen).  More information on the convention will be posted here soon.
