"Welcome to the Maine Federation of Chapters website.  We are proud of our eleven (11) chapters that stem from southern coastal Kittery to northern Caribou, where the snow flies freely.

Although over 350 miles separate us in distance, we are totally connected through NARFE and represent its mission throughout this great State of Maine.

We are now venturing into the world of websites and we ask for your patience, ideas, and comments to make it better.  Look us over and let us know what you think.  I may be reached at memererain@myfairpoint.net

Bylaws-Maine Federation of Chapters-NARFE

At the Maine Federation of Chapters' Convention held in April 2010, two Resolutions were approved by the delegates.  The revised Bylaws were then submitted to National Headquarters for acceptance.  They were accepted and have been changed accordingly.

It was suggested by National that we reduce our Bylaws for better control and establish a Policy and Procedures Manual.  A Constitution/Bylaws Committee has been appointed and are currently working on this project.  Dick Neal is Chair and is being assisted by Dan Strauss and Pat VanOrman.  Input is being requested from the Federation Executive Board as well.
