We have chosen Alzheimers research as our number one charity. We not only have ongoing fund raisers to aid research in this area, but also try to feature a program on the topic each year.

Quartly we encourage members to bring gently used items for resale in the Thrift Shop at the Comal County Senior Citizens' Center.  Since we use the Senior Citizens' Center as our monthly meeting location, this seemed like a great partnership.

The Texas Federation of Chapters is encouraging individual chapters to collect aluminum pull-tabs from beverage cans, soup cans, etc. to use to support the Ronald McDonald House.  The pull tabs are collected and taken to the state convention.  At the 2009 TFC Convention, the Greater North Texas Ronald McDonald House in Dallas was selected as the next recipient of collected pull-tabs.
