Welcome to Chapter 553

 

 Welcome to Chapter 553, Winter Haven Florida. Our Chapter was formed April 13, 1956, with 12 members. Our 1st Chapter President was Lon K. Milburn, we elected 30 Chapter Presidents since. Today we have 215 members dedicated to protecting our earned benefits.

Our chapter also makes yearly donations to the Florida Gulfcoast Chapter of Alzheimer's Association in Winter Haven, and to USF Alzheimer's research department.

Meeting's

Our Chapter meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month, at the Florida Citrus Building, 2nd floor, 3rd St. and Ave E, NW. We meet for lunch at 12:15; our program starts at 1 PM.

   

 

Our next meeting is June 9th. This is our last meeting before we break for the summer vacation season. Our guest speaker is Ken Thomas, executive V.P. of NARFE Florida. Our lunch menu is pizza, chips, beverages, and dessert, all for just $5.00.
