NARFE Chapter 2306 of Carroll County, Maryland invites all active (currently employed) and retired federal employees as well as their spouses or survivors of former federal employees to visit our chapter meetings any time. We try to provide a comfortable atmosphere for our meetings, interesting/informative programs and socialization with fellow NARFE members. To the extent possible, we conduct NARFE business at the monthly Executive Board Meetings and important information for members is communicated thru the national NARFE magazine and our monthly Chapter newsletter, USA Alumni. Keeping the "business" out of the membership meetings provides you with the maximun opportunity for food and fellowship.

If you live in Carroll County (or nearby but would like to join our Chapter) please enter 2306 where the application form asks for the Chapter number. Then, come to our general membership meeting.

MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS
Our members meet monthly, except July and August, in Westminster, Maryland on the second Thursday of the month. Following lunch, approx. 12:15p.m. we have a program. Our programs are varied and of interest to all active and retired Federal employees, both Civil Service (CSRS) and Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). The programs include presentations about: Health Issues, Changes in Federal Health Care Plans, Long Term Care, Financial Planning.
2011 - 2012 Officers: Officers for the Carroll County Chapter of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) were installed by Ted Jensen, Maryland Federation President of NARFE.

MEETING CANCELLATION POLICY
If the Carroll County Schools are closed or announce closing 2 hours early on our meeting day, our meeting will be canceled. If the Carroll County Schools are open or opening 2 hours late on a meeting day, we will have our meeting.
