On Tuesday, June 2, 2009, we will have Dawn Morgan, the education facilitator for Alzheimer’s Association talk to us about the latest research results. Come and find out what this is all about. Come for lunch at 12:00 Noon and socialize with other federal employees and retirees. The program starts at 12:45 PM..

Please join us for the Annual Vancouver Chapter 131 Picnic
at Vancouver Lake Park at noon on Tuesday, July 21st.
We have reserved the Eagle Picnic Shelter. To get there take I-5
to either Mill Plain or Fourth Plain exits. Drive west on either Mill Plain
or Fourth Plain and eventually they will come together and become
Lower River Road. Follow the signs to Vancouver Lake. It’s about
5 miles from I-5.

There will be a $2.00 charge for each car that enters the park.
This will be a potluck so bring your favorite salad, hot dish or dessert.
Come, have a good time visiting with fellow NARFE members and
friends, and eat great food. As in previous years, we will try to have
representatives from Senator’s Cantwell and Murray’s Offices and
Representative Baird’s
Office attending and filling us in on the latest happenings in Congress.
There’s usually a cool breeze blowing at the lake so bring some warm
clothing to wear.
